Biathlon World Championships 2024: results, broadcast schedule and calendar

The 57th Biathlon World Championships started in the Czech city of Nove Mesto na Morave on Wednesday, February 7. The competition includes 12 disciplines: individual race, sprint, pursuit, mass start, relay, single mixed relay and mixed relay.

The Vysočina Arena Biathlon Stadium is located a half-hour walk from the city center at an altitude of 625 meters above sea level.

The town of Nove Mesto is located in the center of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, midway between Prague and Brno. The biathlon course runs through a picturesque pine forest and has an elevation difference of 617 to 665 meters.

"Vysočina Arena is primarily designed for sporting events, and its location allows for year-round cross-country skiing and biathlon training. The arena is intertwined with a mountain bike network.

The composition of the men's national team of Ukraine:

Dmytro Pidruchnyi, Artem Pryma, Anton Dudchenko, Denys Nasyko and Taras Lesiuk.

The composition of the women's national team of Ukraine:

Yulia Dzhyma, Anastasia Merkushyna, Iryna Petrenko, Khrystyna Dmytrenko, Anna Kryvonos, Liubov Kypiachenkova.

As previously reported, our national team was left without medals at the last World Cup. The best result in individual races was Dmytro Pidruchnyi's 5th place in the sprint.

In the team competition, Ukraine finished highest in the men's relay (13th).
