Ukraine forward Roman Yaremchuk was not among the players who went to the training camp with Brugge. The Belgian champion went to Brabant (Netherlands) to prepare for the new season. The list includes 31 players, without Roman.

Earlier, Fanatik reported that Yaremchuk could join Trabzonspor. The Turkish club allegedly agreed with the Belgians on the transfer of the 28-year-old player. Roman was offered a three-year contract with an option to extend.

Yaremchuk spent last season at Valencia on loan, after which one of the titled Spanish clubs refused to sign a full-fledged deal with the Ukrainian and said goodbye to the player.

As reported, in the summer of 2022, Brugge broke the Belgian transfer record by paying at least 17 million euros for Roman Yaremchuk. However, it turned out to be a huge failure as the Ukrainian forward never found his skill at the Jan Breydel Stadium. Roman scored only 4 goals in 29 matches.

At Euro 2024, Yaremchuk took part in three matches, scoring the only goal in the game against Slovakia.
