Audi's premium cars may match their main rivals in terms of specific qualities, but in some ways, they feel cheaper. The company has recognized the problem with interiors, which it intends to fix.

As Motor1 has learned, Audi has responded to criticism from customers and the media about the low quality of finishing materials and cheap elements in the interiors of its models. The company promised to correct the drop in quality.

Recently, such an approach to interior design and decoration has distanced Audi models from the premium segment, which the German manufacturer had previously tried to match.

Audi is really responding to criticism and is taking steps to improve its image. For example, the manufacturer recently refused to use a well-known cheap part that almost no one liked.

The fact is that the German automaker has recently offered cheap plastic imitation of exhaust system pipes on its cars – this element was part of the rear bumper.

It didn't look very good, especially on closer inspection. Almost no one liked this imitation – for several years, customers complained and expressed their misunderstanding. The new Audi models are already equipped with real nozzles that are visible in the bumper, look great, and perform a direct function.
