Atletico no longer considers Ukrainian Dovbyk as main transfer target after poor performance at Euro 2024

Ukrainian national team forward Artem Dovbyk is no longer Atletico Madrid's main transfer target. The club refused to pay Girona 40 million euros for the player, who performed unsuccessfully at the European Championship.

According to the publication, Atletico has so far withdrawn from the race for the Ukrainian as the Catalan club did not reduce the price of the forward, who became the top scorer in the Spanish championship last season, having 24 goals in his first season in La Liga.

At the same time, Napoli and Arsenal are among the contenders for Dovbyk. Atletico is now considering alternatives to our compatriot. In addition, the club hopes that Girona will still reduce the financial requirements.
