Ukrzaliznytsia has modernized the electric train EP9M 559 with sockets for charging gadgets, ramps, etc. It will now run in the Nizhyn direction, which will make it easier for Ukrainians from these and nearby settlements to get to work and school.

This was reported by the carrier itself. They noted that the train was also equipped with:

• comfortable seats;
• places for passengers in wheelchairs, etc.

"Ukrzaliznytsia has completed the modernization of electric train EP9M 559 at its own facilities. Soon it will be transporting passengers in the Nizhyn direction. This is the second suburban electric train to be restored since the beginning of the year, and the 38th since the full-scale invasion," the statement said.

Ukraine launches a train with a special carriage

In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia is launching the first children's carriage on an international train. It is train No. 351 Kyiv – Chisinau. It will make its first trip with a children's car on February 27.

According to the carrier, the carriage is "fully certified for international traffic." It is also equipped with

• ramps for strollers;
• themed compartments with Superpower sparklers;
• playpens for the little ones;
• changing tables;
• hypoallergenic baby bedding;
• children's menu;
• baby food heating;
• protected sides of the upper shelves;
• billboards;
• safe corridor handrails with soft upholstery;

• audio bedtime stories.

It is emphasized that tickets for the carriage are sold exclusively through the carrier's app. It will be marked with a special "children's" label.

To do this, you should create a profile of the passenger for whom you are buying a ticket in the Ukrzaliznytsia app and specify his or her name, surname, patronymic, and phone number to which his or her account is registered.
