The incredible Wuling E10 electric truck from China is preparing to go on sale for only $5,000. The car looks strange. The compact truck was shown in a photo online.

Carscoops reports on the novelty. Wuling was formed by General Motors and SAIC to produce the cheapest electric vehicles in China. The new E10 fully meets this description, but represents the commercial segment.

The Wuling E10 compact electric truck has an unusual design. The photo shows that something is wrong with the car. The body is very narrow – only 1080 mm. This is about one and a half times less than other compact models.

There is only one seat in the cabin – for the driver. It has air conditioning and a USB port. The body length is 3305 mm and the height is 1690 mm.

The cargo compartment has a capacity of 1.7 cubic meters. But the payload is no more than 200 kg with a total vehicle weight of 620 kg.

One electric motor produces 27 hp and allows acceleration to 71 km/h. The 9 kWh battery pack is designed for a range of 150 km if you do not drive faster than 40 km/h.
