An airplane has caught fire in the skies over Russia again after yesterday's incident with a Tu-204 cargo plane that burst into flames mid-air on its way to China. The passenger Boeing 737 landed in Novosibirsk with 176 people on board.

According to Russian media reports, the plane took off from Novosibirsk to Moscow at 06:20 am on December 8. Already during takeoff, both engines were pumped, preliminarily due to pressure problems.

The crew requested a landing from air traffic control and 40 minutes later, the Boeing landed safely at Tolmachevo Airport.

This is the second time in two days that a Russian plane has been forced to make an emergency landing due to an engine fire.

On the morning of December 7, a Tu-204 cargo plane caught fire in Ulan-Ude, Buryatia, during a flight. The Aerostar airline flight took off for Zhangzhou, China, but a few minutes later its left engine caught fire.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on December 5, the Ukrainian military shot down a Russian Su-24M bomber near Zmeinyi Island in the Black Sea. The enemy aircraft tried to launch a missile and bomb attack on the south of Odesa region.
