Air Force said Russian missile destroyed by Patriot SAM near Kyiv

On the morning of Saturday, November 11, the terrorist country of Russia fired a ballistic missile at Kyiv. The enemy air target was destroyed thanks to the Patriot missile system.

This was announced on the Telegram channel of the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk. Citizens were urged not to ignore the alert.

"On the morning of November 11, the occupiers insidiously attacked the capital of Ukraine with ballistic missiles. We will find out later whether it was an Iskander-M ballistic missile or an S-400 anti-aircraft guided missile. For now, I want to thank the combat crews of the Patriot air defense system for their immediate response in defending the capital and all those who repelled the Shahed drones attack on the night of November 11, 2023, in the areas of responsibility of the East, South and Center air commands," Oleshchuk wrote.

As a reminder, an explosion was heard in one of the Kyiv districts on the morning of Saturday, November 11, at around 8:00. According to preliminary information, the aggressor country Russia tried to attack the capital with an Iskander missile.
