Against the Tiguan and RAV4: Citroen's new low-cost crossover shown online
The new low-cost Citroen C5 Aircross crossover for 2025 will compete against the VW Tiguan, Toyota RAV4, and Kia Sportage on the market. We already know approximately what the French crossover will look like, the car was shown online.
Motor1 has shown its own design version of the Citroen model. The car is based on a concept that was recently officially shown at the Paris Motor Show. The production model will almost completely match it.
It is obvious that the car's appearance was greatly influenced by the younger Citroen C3 model. At the same time, the new model does not look like its predecessor, which is now offered to customers. The car will also become larger. The crossover is expected to have a practical interior and technological equipment.
The 2nd generation Citroen C5 Aircross crossover will be the closest relative of the new Peugeot 3008 and Opel Grandland, which were presented earlier. Thus, the C5 Aircross lineup will include hybrids (136-195 hp) and electric powertrains.
Electric vehicles will be offered in several modifications (210 hp, 73 kWh battery, 525 km range; 320 hp, 73 kWh, 525 km; 230 hp, 98 kWh, 700 km).
