"Absolutely aggressive": UEFA president hints that he does not want Ukraine to qualify for Euro 2024
Čeferin speaks about Ukraine...
The President of the European Football Union (UEFA), Alexander Čeferin, has expressed concern over the possible entry of the Ukrainian or Israeli national teams into the 2024 FIFA World Cup. According to the official, this will add to the difficulties of the organizers in ensuring security.
Čeferin said this in an interview with the authoritative British publication Telegraph Sport. The Slovene, who previously made scandalous statements about the participation of Ukrainians in Euro 2024, noted that fans from two warring countries could add to the problems during the tournament in Germany.

"In these crazy times, when the geostrategic world is going crazy and there is an absolutely aggressive situation, security is the biggest concern. My concerns are not only about the stadiums, because I am sure they will be properly guarded. But fans will be everywhere in cities and towns. Let's be optimistic. I still think that everything will be fine with the support of the German authorities, who are determined to help us," said Čeferin.

It is worth noting that Ukrainians and Israelis may meet in a battle for a ticket to Euro 2024. This will happen if our team beats Bosnia and Herzegovina away on March 21, and the Blue and Whites beat Iceland on their nominally home field.
