A woman found a snake from central Mexico under the hood of her car

In Kyiv, a woman found a snake in the hood of her car while inspecting it. Animal rescuers were called to remove the reptile.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Animal Rescue Group. How it got there is currently unknown.

According to the animal rescuers, they were approached by a resident of Kyiv who reported that she had found a live snake in the hood of her car.

"We don't know where the Campbell's milk snake (a non-poisonous subspecies of the Woozewood family) came from or why it got into the car. Most likely, the monotonous life in the aquarium bored Molochna, she wanted adventure and extreme. The goal has been successfully achieved - all participants of this rescue had extreme adventures," the animal rescuers added.

Campbell's milk snake - other names are "cross-banded king snake", "Puebla milk snake". It was named in honor of the American zoologist Jonathan Campbell. It lives in central Mexico: Puebla, Morelos, Oaxaca.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, a dog fell to the bottom of a sewer in the Obukhiv district of Kyiv region. Rescuers were called to the scene to help the animal.
