During a massive attack by Russian occupiers with kamikaze drones on Kyiv on the night of November 25, drone fragments damaged the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. It is located in the Dnipro district of the capital.

A multi-storey building located near the church suffered more damage.
Vasyl Bukatyuk, a spokesman for the UGCC Information Department, said that six windows in the basement of the cathedral were damaged. Also, the blast wave knocked out double-glazed windows. Four doors of the church had damaged fittings, and the cores were torn out of the door locks.
