On the afternoon of June 24, a massive fire broke out in Russia on the territory of the Platan Research Institute in the town of Fryazino near Moscow. Trying to escape, two people jumped out of a window and died, the fate of six others is unknown. The occupiers manufacture electronic components for the aggressor country's military-industrial complex at this enterprise.

Due to the strong flames, the company's employees were blocked on the upper floors, according to propaganda Telegram channels. As of 5:16 p.m., the Russian Emergencies Ministry said that the fire in Fryazino had reached 4,500 square meters, and two Ka-32 helicopters were sent to extinguish it.

Judging by the footage posted online, the building on fire in Fryazino near Moscow is completely enveloped in smoke.

It is known that seven people were trapped on the seventh floor of the building in Fryazino. Emergency Ministry employees tried to get to them to evacuate them. At the same time, people were waving and asking for help from the broken windows.

By the evening, the Russian media reported eight deaths in the fire. They published a video of the last moments of the lives of those trapped in the burning building. Two people jumped out and fell to their deaths, while the rest remained inside and died from the fire. The authorities confirmed the deaths of two people, but the fate of six others is unknown.

Russian propagandists, referring to operational services, report that an explosion was heard in the burning building.

More than 100 people and 40 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire at the research institute in Fryazin, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said.

At the same time, "Roselektronika" stated that the building on fire in Fryazino is not related to the Platan Research Institute, it allegedly became private property in the 1990s.

According to the Russian media, the institute has a plant on its territory that specializes in the manufacture of electronic components and communication devices.

There is no information yet on the cause of the fire or the area of the fire.
