Suzuki and Toyota often join forces to develop joint models. Most often it concerns inexpensive crossovers, the most popular cars. However, the next car will surprise buyers.

The new Suzuki Cappuccino is already being developed, according to Carscoops. They even prepared their own version of the possible design of a stylish sports car. The authors used elements of the Swift budget car.

The car disappeared from the model lineup in 1998. And now it will return as an inexpensive sports model. It is expected that the car will grow in length to 3895 mm and will have a wheelbase of 2410 mm.

This is a compact roadster designed for two people. The weight of the car will be approximately 1100 kg. But in the second generation, the car will still become larger to compete with the Mazda MX-5. For comparison, the old 1991 Cappuccino was 3.3 meters long.

The engine of the previous model did not exceed 0.65 liters. The new model will get a 1.3-liter engine with a capacity of up to 150 hp. The same engine will be used in similar-sized Toyota S-FR and Daihatsu Copen models. The Cappuccino's premiere is expected in 2026.
