Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klychko announced this on his Telegram channel. Law enforcement and public utilities are working at the scene.

"I inspected a residential building in the Dniprovskyi district that suffered from enemy shelling at night and talked to the residents. Fragments of the ballistic missile fell into the yard of the apartment building. As a result, both the house and the kindergarten located nearby were damaged. The parked cars in the yard burned down, and windows in the neighboring houses and the school were smashed," Klychko said.

According to the mayor of Kyiv, the residents of the damaged building were promptly evacuated at night. Investigative actions are currently underway, after which people will be allowed to take their belongings, and the broken windows will be covered with plastic. The mayor emphasized that after that the city's authorities will begin the examination.

"If the building's load-bearing structures are intact, we will quickly restore the building so that residents can return to their homes as soon as possible. If the damage to the structures is critical, we will consider the option of major reconstruction. We will also have to restore the kindergarten. The city's authorities will provide temporary housing for the affected residents during the reconstruction. There is also a heating point set up by the rescue service," Klychko added.

The mayor also informed that the debris of another missile fell on the territory of one of the city hospitals in the Dniprovskyi district that night. As a result, the morgue building was damaged, and the building of the medical institution sustained minor damage.

In total, 53 people were injured in the night attack. 20 of them were hospitalized, including two children. 33 people received medical assistance on the spot. Six children are among them.
