A flood of cheap cars from the US may come to Ukraine

American car imports to Ukraine are gradually recovering. And soon, very cheap cars may flood in from the United States in large quantities.

After the local authorities ordered an evacuation, not everyone was able to take their cars. It is common for Americans to own several cars, so they had to choose. People reportedly tried to save the vehicles anyway.

Someone left their car in a multi-story parking lot. Those who didn't have enough spaces tried to leave their cars above ground level, for example, on a bridge. Others wrapped their vehicles in thick plastic bags.

And some were desperate and simply left their cars on the street. This means that the flood-damaged cars will no longer be roadworthy. But they will be sold at insurance auctions for cheap. Often after that, vehicles from America arrive in Ukraine, where carefree buyers are happy to see the low prices of used cars.
