A criminal case was opened in Russia against enemy propagandist Egor ("Thirteenth") Guzenko under Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Use of violence against a representative of the authorities". The court arrested the "military commissar" for two months.

His detention was carried out on the main square of Novopavlovsk (Stavropol Territory of Russia) during the celebration of the city's day. At the time, the occupiers' aide resisted the "law enforcement officers," according to Russian media.

"When they detained me, they also beat me... I came home for the first time, and this is how my hometown greeted me," the propagandist complained.

During interrogations, according to one of the enemy's Telegram channels, Guzenko refused to testify.

In addition, he was on the federal wanted list as a defendant in a criminal case under Article 213 of the Russian Criminal Code "Hooliganism." The case was initiated at the end of 2021, and in March 2022, Guzenko, as he wrote on Telegram, cut off his electronic bracelet and went to the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region of Ukraine.

The case of Egor Guzenko

Egor Guzenko fought against Ukraine in 2014 with pro-Russian militants. In 2019, he traveled to Syria with a PMC.

In 2021, he was caught by the St. Petersburg police at least twice. Both times, the Russian used a gas pistol (he claimed to have done so in self-defense). After the last incident, the offender was placed under house arrest, but the "blogger" escaped.

The investigation into the case was suspended for some time but resumed in September 2023.

It is noteworthy that in his blog, the propagandist repeatedly criticized the Russian authorities. For example, in September of this year, under a post with footage of the shelling of Belgorod, he asked the question: "What is the reality in the Kremlin?".

As previously reported by OBOZ.UA:

– At the end of January 2024, a Russian court sentenced its militant, former so-called Defense Minister of the "DPR" Igor Girkin to four years in prison. The propagandist, who criticized the Kremlin, was found guilty of "extremism."

– Recently, the Russian Federation announced that his health was deteriorating. They say that Girkin needs heart surgery.
