Azerbaijani Karabakh scored an absolutely stunning victory over Bulgarian Ludogorets in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. Coach Gurban Gurbanov's team scored seven goals in the away game, four of them in extra time, to win 7-2.

"Karabakh lost the home game 1-2 and had to get back at it. In the 7th minute, the visitors scored the minimum, but by the middle of the first half Ludogorets had scored two goals of their own and consolidated their overall advantage.

In overtime, the Azerbaijanis first converted a penalty kick and then made a comeback, equalizing the score on the sum of the two games.

In the second half, the teams did not score and took the game to overtime, where a real drama unfolded for the hosts. "Ludogorets conceded in the 93rd minute and then flew at the opponent's goal, forgetting about defense. As a result, the Karabakh players managed to score three goals in seven minutes and destroy the opponent.

Now the Azerbaijanis will play Dinamo Zagreb in the knockout matches. "For the second time in its history, Karabakh can make it to the main round of the Champions League.
