10 most popular binge-worthy shows on Netflix

Recently, the popular Netflix platform published a report on the biggest number of views for the first half of 2024. According to statistics, people had more then 94 billion hours of screen time in six months. And the first place was taken not by Bridgerton, but by the thriller Fool Me Once, based on the novel by Harlan Coben.

The tense British-made thriller is based on the novel by American writer Harlan Coben. The film became the most popular project of the year - it was watched 107.5 million times with a total viewing time of 689.5 million hours. The plot keeps you in suspense to the very end, and the story begins when former military officer Maya sees her murdered husband on a hidden baby monitor and uncovers a dangerous conspiracy.

Bridgerton

The story of the Bridgerton family living in an alternative Regency London is based on a series of novels by Julia Quinn. The plot centers on the life of the Bridgerton family, namely four brothers Anthony, Benedict, Colin and Gregory and four sisters Daphne, Eloise, Frances and Hyacinth. The third season of the historical romantic drama tells the story of Colin and Penelope. The series has received 91.9 million views.

Baby Raindeer

The series is based on the true story of comedian Richard Gadd. In the story, the comedian is stalked by a woman who sends him hundreds of hours of voice messages and more than 40 thousand emails. The film has been viewed 87.6 million times, with a total viewing time of 347.6 million hours.

The Gentlemen

The popular Netflix action-comedy from British cult director Guy Ritchie received 75.9 million views and 507.3 million hours of screen time.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

The adaptation of the famous animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender already has 71.1 million views on the platform. The boy Avatar has to conquer the four elements to save the war-torn world and defeat the main enemy.

Griselda

The miniseries about Griselda Blanco, a drug lord, also unexpectedly received high ratings. It was watched 69.2 million times in the first half of the year.

American Horror Story

One Day

The film adaptation of the novel of the same name by David Nicholls tells the story of a sensual love story between Dexter Mayhew and Emma Morley. The couple meets on the same day every year. By the way, the first film adaptation starring Anne Hathaway was released in 2011.
