Will turn out tasty and healthy: what vegetable to choose for a hearty pie
Vegetable pie is the right dish to choose for lunch. You will definitely not feel heavy after this combination of products because there is no fatty meat, various roasts, or sauces. It is based on healthy broccoli, which you just need to boil.
The idea of making a hearty broccoli pie for lunch was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Kateryna Brailo (ketiv). You will definitely fall in love with this vegetable.
Ingredients:
- fresh broccoli - 2 medium florets (300 g)
- wheat flour - 180 g + baking powder - 1 tsp
- chicken egg - 2 pcs
- milk - 250 ml
- olive oil - 50 ml
- mozzarella - 120 g
- parsley
- grated hard cheese - 50 g
- optional spices: Italian herbs, dry garlic
- sesame seeds
Method of preparation:
1. Boil broccoli until al dente (3-4 minutes). To do this, disassemble the cabbage into florets. Throw them into boiling water and cook for 6-7 minutes (fresh broccoli, a little less for frozen) - the stalk should be easily pierced with a fork. Be sure to transfer to cold water with ice afterward. Put on a paper towel to absorb excess liquid.
2. Combine flour, milk, eggs, and olive oil in a deep bowl.
3. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
4. Add greens, spices, mozzarella, broccoli and mix again.
5. Pour into a baking dish.
6. Sprinkle grated hard cheese on top.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
8. Let cool slightly and serve with Greek yogurt/sour cream.
