Experts have already compiled a list of the most reliable cars in 2024. It turned out that the positions at the top of the rating were taken by inexpensive cars. This is useful for buyers who want to save money on a new model.
The JD Power organization has presented a rating of car reliability for 2024. The list was compiled on the basis of feedback from owners of new cars after 90 days of operation, who shared their opinion on the quality of their new vehicle.
Experts interviewed American car owners. In this case, reliability is determined by the number of breakdowns per 100 cars. For this purpose, the company has a special coefficient (PP100). As a result, the most and least reliable brands were identified, with the manufacturer with 149 breakdowns per 100 cars at the top of the rating and the one with 316 at the bottom. At the same time, the average rate for the industry was 195/100.
The most reliable cars of 2024:
- RAM (149);
- Chevrolet (160);
- Hyundai (162);
- Kia (163);
- Buick (164);
- Nissan (166);
- Porsche (172);
- Lexus (174);
- Ford (179);
- Honda (181).
At the top of the list are manufacturers of low-cost cars, which dominate the top ten. The worst manufacturer was Polestar with an index of 316.
