American theologian and writer John Walsh has created a map that shows what the last days of Jesus' life were like before his crucifixion. It is based on the Bible and archaeological evidence and tells the story of Christ's journey through Jerusalem in the week before his death on the cross.
The map begins at the temple on the Temple Mount, where Jesus is said to have taught daily and, according to Matthew 21:12-17, cleared the temple of merchants and money changers seven days before his death. According to the Bible, this happened when Jesus entered Jerusalem for the last time before his crucifixion, which meant a symbolic cleansing just before his sacrifice, MailOnline writes.
The map collects information from the four Gospels of the New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

The map also shows the path to the Last Supper with the 12 apostles, which took place three days before his death. The dinner took place in the Upper Room, located in the southern part of the Old City of Jerusalem on Mount Zion.
The day before his death, Jesus was arrested and tried for treason and blasphemy.
The journey ends with the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is considered the place of Jesus' crucifixion, and the Garden Tomb, where, according to legend, his body was laid.
