What meat to cook for a festive table instead of cutlets and chops: an idea for a simple hot dish
Traditional meat dishes for the holiday table are chops or cutlets. But if you want to freshen up the menu and add bright flavors, make a minced meatloaf and omelette pancakes. The dish will turn out to be very nourishing and juicy and will definitely appeal to all your guests.
The idea of making a hearty meatloaf for a festive table was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Maria Makarchuk (makarchuk food). It also contains mushrooms, which makes the dish much more satisfying.
Ingredients:
- lard mesh - 500 g (if available)
- minced pork - 600 g
- minced chicken - 300 g
- mushrooms - 500 g
- onion - 2 pcs.
- vegetable oil - 20 ml.
- salt - 20 g
- spices - 10 g
Ingredients for pancakes:
- eggs - 4 pcs.
- cottage cheese - 150 g
- pepper - to taste
- mayonnaise - 2 tbsp or you can take sour cream
Method of preparation:
1. Add cheese and mayonnaise to the eggs.
2. Fry the pancake on one side.
3. For the filling, fry the onion in a little oil until golden brown.
4. Add the mushrooms, salt and pepper.
5. Add the chilled ingredients to the minced meat (chicken and pork mixture).
6. Add spices and mix well.
7. Spread out the fat grid.
8. Next, put a layer of minced meat.
9. Pancakes are on top.
10. Roll everything into a tight roll and fix it with parchment and thread.
11. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
12. Cut into portions.
