Miner's Day is a professional holiday that has no specific date and is celebrated on the last Sunday of August. This time, it falls on the 25th. The purpose of the holiday is to honor the work and contribution to Ukraine's economy of coal industry workers.

Donetsk City Day - Donetsk City Day also coincides with Miner's Day. This region of Ukraine has traditionally been engaged in coal mining, and its center is also known as the mining capital. Since 2014, Donetsk has been under Russian occupation, but it is still remembered in Ukraine, and on City Day, citizens share their memories of trips to the city of a million roses.

Rivne City Day - another regional center of Ukraine celebrates its holiday on the last Sunday of August. This time it is Rivne. Information about it appears in historical chronicles as early as 1283, and it received Magdeburg Law in 1492. Four years later, Rivne was first described as a city in the Volyn Brief Chronicle.
