After all, this period has minimal crowds, favorable weather without a hot climate, and lower prices. Aren't these ideal conditions for exploring cities and unique sights? So where to go on vacation - we tell you below.

Crete

Crete is located in the Mediterranean Sea. It is considered the largest island in the country. The coastline stretches for more than 1046 kilometers. The mild Mediterranean climate prevails. In winter, the average temperature ranges from +14°C to +16°C.

We recommend visiting Elafonissi Beach in the southwest of Crete. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is famous for the pink hues emitted by tiny corals in the sand.

For hiking enthusiasts, we recommend going to the Samaria Gorge National Park. The hiking route lasts about 4.5 hours. Here you can see picturesque gorges, including the Samaria Gorge.

Also go to the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion, dedicated to the art of the Minoan civilization. Tourists can see a collection of artifacts dating back to 1883. By the way, the exhibits are viewed in chronological order.
