VW's cheapest electric car surprised with battery condition after a huge run

The German automobile club ADAC conducted long-term tests of the Volkswagen ID.3 electric car. They lasted 2.5 years. During the tests, the authors made important conclusions about the reliability and usability of the car.
In 2.5 years, the car covered 100,000 kilometers in combined operation. This is a big figure for an electric car. As a rule, the owners of such cars try not to wait for such indicators and get rid of the car on the secondary market earlier for fear of possible breakdowns. After all, replacing the battery is the most expensive procedure that can be done with an EV.

It is also noteworthy that in everyday use, it will take much longer to reach a mileage of a hundred thousand kilometers, given the average annual mileage of about 20,000 km.
In any case, according to the test results, the VW ID.3 battery with a capacity of 77 kWh lost less than 7%. That is, the residual capacity exceeded 93%. At the same time, Volkswagen claimed that after such a run, the battery would have less than 74% of its original capacity.
The ID.3 has proven to be a reliable car. The only complaints are about the inconvenient touchscreen controls for secondary functions and the not-so-great multimedia system. But the hatchback drives well, is equipped with reliable technology, and offers 400 km of range or 300 km at sub-zero temperatures.
