Universal lemon curd instead of custard: how to cook
If you're tired of custard desserts, make this versatile lemon curd. It has a very pleasant fresh flavor with a slight sourness. You can simply eat it with a spoon or add it to various pastries as a filling.
- lemon juice - 65 g
- zest of 1 lemon
- milk - 125 g
- sugar - 65 g
- butter - 30 g
- egg yolk - 2 pcs
- corn starch - 20 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix everything in a ladle and put on a small fire.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. Stir and cook for 3 minutes.
4. You can pass it through a sieve if the pieces of zest bother you, or leave it with them.
5. Cover with cling film.
6. Leave to cool completely.
