Three tasty salty fillings for Shrove Tuesday pancakes

This week, Ukrainians celebrate Shrovetide, a holiday when people say goodbye to winter and welcome spring. The main dish is pancakes, the shape of which resemble the sun. The event will last until March 2, so you still have time to try a variety of fillings and join the celebration!

Tetyana Pesyk, a participant of the show VIP Ternopil, which will premiere on Novy Channel on March 3, shared her recipes with FoodOboz.

Red fish

Ingredients:

• red salted fish - 200 g
• cucumber - 1 pc
• cream cheese - 150 g
• salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the cucumber into strips. Chop the red fish pieces too if they are big.

2. Spread the prepared pancake with cream cheese. Put the cucumber and fish on top.

3. Roll up, cut and serve!

Ham and cheese

Ingredients:

• ham - 100 g
• hard cheese - 100 g
• dill - 2 sprigs
• mayonnaise - 1 tbsp
• salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the ham into thin slices. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

2. Add chopped dill and season with mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste.

3. Roll up.

Crab sticks

Ingredients:

• crab sticks - 200 g
• mozzarella cheese - 100 g
• mayonnaise or Greek yogurt - 2 tbsp
• garlic - 2 cloves
• salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Separate the crab sticks into fibers. Grate the cheese and chop the garlic cloves finely.

2. Add mayonnaise or Greek yogurt, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

3. Roll up and enjoy!
