In the new chilling movie, the 60-year-old Cage plays the role of a serial killer who leaves letters signed "Longlegs" near the bodies of his victims. In the trailer, the killer is kept in the shadows. The viewer can only catch a glimpse of a creepy old man with long, disheveled hair, who is hardly recognizable as the famous actor.

He is being pursued by FBI agent Lee Harker, who discovers a personal connection to the bad guy. Thus, the agent, played by Maika Monroe, must act quickly to put an end to the horrific series of murders.

Longlegs also stars Alicia Witt, Blair Underwood, and Kiernan Shipka from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The film was written and directed by Osgood Perkins.
