Thick berry kysil just like in childhood: how to prepare it without lumps
Kysil is a delicious Ukrainian drink made from fresh, frozen, or dried fruit or berries, jam, syrups, and milk. Kysil is always supplemented with starch to make it thick. You need to stir the drink constantly to avoid lumps.
- water - 2.5 liters
- starch - 4 tbsp. l.
Method of preparation:
1. Pour berries into a saucepan, cover with water, and put on fire. Bring everything to a boil.
2. Dissolve the starch in cold water.
3. Pour it into boiling water with berries, stirring constantly. Cook for a few more minutes until thickened. Serve the finished drink chilled. Enjoy!
