The aftermath of the fall of an enemy drone

In one of the villages of Bucha district, Kyiv region, the wreckage of a Shahed downed by air defense forces on August 26 destroyed a private house whose owner had managed to leave for work 5 minutes before the incident. A deep crater has formed at the site of the enemy drone's crash.

This was reported by an OBOZ.UA correspondent. The air alert in the region lasted 12 hours and 40 minutes.

Thus, on Monday, August 26, the aggressor country Russia attacked the Kyiv region with missiles and kamikaze drones. Air defense forces were operating in the region to destroy enemy targets. Unfortunately, the shelling damaged residential buildings and injured four people, including a 5-month-old child.

In particular, in one of the villages of the Bucha district, a downed Shahed fell a few meters from one of the houses. According to the owner of the house, he had left home for work 5 minutes before. He returned when firefighters and police were already working. He was not allowed in the yard until the wreckage of the drone was removed and examined.

"The rabbits died, the chickens flew away," the man added with regret.

To clean up the wreckage and burnt boards, the man was helped by concerned neighbors. It is worth adding that 100 meters from the crash site of the Shahed is a church that was not damaged.
