Rustic potatoes are one of the most popular side dishes made from this vegetable. Not only are they delicious, but they also look very appetizing, which makes you want to try the dish, even if you're trying not to eat potatoes.

A food blogger with the nickname nata.cooking shared on Instagram how to cook potatoes in a rustic way. She showed how to make the garnish have a beautiful crispy crust.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 800 gr
  • Vegetable oil – 5-7 tbsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Pepper – ½ tsp
  • Paprika – 1 tsp
  • Dry garlic – 1 tsp
  • Spices for potatoes
  • Breadcrumbs – 3 tbsp
  • Grated Parmesan cheese – 3 tbsp

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Salt – a pinch

Method of preparation.

1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut them into equal slices.

2. Put them in a saucepan, cover with water, put on the fire, add salt, and boil for no more than 3-5 minutes when it boils.

3. Drain the water, add the oil, spices, breadcrumbs, parmesan and mix.

4. Put the slices on a baking sheet covered with parchment.

5. Bake in a 180-200°C oven for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.

6. For the sauce, mix all the ingredients and serve with the potatoes.
