Pickled champignons are a wonderful spicy appetizer that is a great option for both everyday and festive table. You can eat them as a separate dish or with potatoes and meat. If you use the following option, you will get everything done in 15 minutes maximum.

The idea of cooking spicy pickled champignons was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger with the nickname maggtasty. You will need a minimal amount of ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • small champignons - 1 kg
  • sugar - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • 9% vinegar - 6 tbsp
  • oil - 4 tbsp
  • garlic - 8 cloves
  • peppercorns - 10-15 pcs
  • bay leaf - 4-5 pcs

Method of preparation:

1. Combine all the ingredients except mushrooms in a saucepan.

2. Bring to a boil.

3. Add the mushrooms.

4. Close the lid.

5. Bring to a boil and cook for another 7 minutes. The mushrooms will give off a lot of their juice, so no additional water is needed.

6. You can serve immediately or pour into jars.
