The chef shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious homemade "Snickers" dessert, based on a delicate sponge cake, with nuts and caramel adding a bright flavor.
Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 90 g of sugar
- 75 g of flour
- 15 g of cocoa
- 25 g of butter
- 30 g of milk
- 1/2 tsp of baking powder
Caramel:
- 120 g of sugar
- 60 g of butter
- 90 g of cream 33%
- 2 g of salt
Cream:
- 200 g of cold cream 33%, 200 g of cold cream cheese, 30 g of powdered sugar
Frosting:
- 100 g of milk chocolate
- 40 g of butter
- 120 g of salted peanuts
Method of preparation:
1. Sponge cake: combine the eggs with sugar, and heat in a water bath, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Beat for 10 minutes, add flour, cocoa, baking powder, and mix. Separately, combine milk and melted butter, add a little biscuit dough, stir, and pour into the main dough. Bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
2. For the caramel: melt the sugar until it turns amber, reduce the heat to low, and gradually add the rest of the ingredients – butter, salt, and cream. Cool the finished caramel.
3. Cream: combine the ingredients and beat with a mixer until fluffy, 5 minutes.
4. Put the trifle in the mold and refrigerate.
5. Frosting: melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath, add the nuts, and spread the frosting on top of the cake, chill for at least 1 hour.
