The easiest recipe for extra tasty rustic potatoes: crispy on top and soft inside

Rustic potatoes are a great option for a side dish. You don't even have to peel the vegetable, which saves you a lot of time. To make them crispy on top and tender and soft inside, use the following simple recipe.

The idea of cooking the most delicious rustic potatoes was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia Senych (yuliia.senych). It is best served with a yogurt-based sauce.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes - 1 kg
  • vegetable oil - 3 tbsp
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • the sauce: yogurt, dill, garlic, paprika

Method of preparation:

1. Wash the potatoes well (no need to peel them).

2. Cut into 4-6 pieces.

3. Boil over medium heat for 5-7 minutes so that the potatoes become slightly soft but not cooked.

4. Drain and allow to dry slightly.

5. Put in a bowl and add spices and oil.

6. Stir gently so that the pieces are evenly coated.

7. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

8. Put the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment in a single layer.

9. Bake for 20-30 minutes.

10. For the sauce, combine yogurt with greens, your favorite spices and grated clove of garlic.
