A rare atmospheric phenomenon was recorded in the Carpathians, on the famous tourist peak Pip Ivan. In the video, it looks like an endless sea is raging at the foot of the mountain.

The "Carpathian Sea" is observed mainly in the fall, when thick fogs or low clouds surround the mountain peaks, creating the illusion of raging water flows around them. Nazar Zarosliak, a mountain explorer from Ivano-Frankivsk, captured this miracle and shared the fantastic footage on his Facebook page.

"Today was a great day for filming," Nazar Zarosliak captioned his video.

The researcher managed to capture on camera an impressive phenomenon that is common in the fall when weather conditions favor the accumulation of moisture in the mountains.

According to experts, the "Carpathian Sea" can often be seen at dawn, when sunlight begins to pass through thick clouds. Nature researchers note that this phenomenon is not only aesthetically beautiful but also an interesting object for meteorologists to study.

Eyewitnesses to the "Carpathian Sea" emphasize that this phenomenon is especially impressive at altitudes above 2000 meters, where mountain peaks protrude from the foggy "sea" like islands. This harmony and power of nature fascinates and attracts tourists who want to feel the special atmosphere of the Carpathians.
