There are more and more talks about Tesla's cheapest crossover. The model will be presented soon after the modernization - the premiere of the Model Y electric car is approaching.
According to Motor1, the Tesla Model Y is expected to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October. The American manufacturer has confirmed its participation in the exhibition. The compact crossover may receive a variant with 7 seats in the cabin.
Earlier, the new Tesla Model Y for the 2025 model year was shown on the road during testing. The electric crossover is still known as the Tesla Model Y Juniper. This is the name of the prototype.
Most likely, the new product will receive the same changes that we saw in the new Tesla Model 3 of 2024. The design of the compact electric sedan has been restyled with new horizontal headlights in the style of the older Model S and a different bumper with a neat air intake at the bottom.
The maximum range of the new Tesla Model 3 of the 2024 model year in the Long Range modification is 629 km. With 18-inch wheels, the range of the Tesla Model 3 Long Range increases to 678 km. The basic Tesla Model 3 Standard Range RWD (rear-wheel drive) has a range of 513 km. Obviously, a similar program of changes is expected for the crossover.
