When the Tesla Cybertruck electric van was introduced, its futuristic look reminded many people of the combat vehicles from the Mad Max universe. It was only a matter of time before the car would be transformed into something similar.

And now, according to Top Gear, the Sting aftermarket bolt-on package has appeared, which turns the Cybertruck into a literal fortress on wheels. It received armor and additional features for autonomous existence. "It can literally withstand a storm led by a T-800," journalists noted, recalling the combat robots from the Terminator universe.

The package was developed by Archimedes Defense, a company that plans to create security solutions. The company was assisted by Unplugged Performance, a California-based company that upgrades Tesla cars.

Additional layers of steel and ceramic armor plates have been added to the hull, which can withstand machine gun fire up to 14.5 mm in the top-of-the-line APC version. In the mid-range Protector version, the modified Cybertruck is not afraid of ammunition up to 7.62 mm in caliber.

The redesigned body features huge antennas at the rear, which has even been compared to an airport control tower, as well as thicker off-road tires. In addition, the car has several additional fog lights on the front. The reinforcement of the doors has led to the modification having smaller side windows.

The developers do not promise any changes to the existing powertrain, but Archimedes said it will install an 800 V AMP Drive G125 engine generator in the trunk. It can run on different types of fuel and charge Cybertruck electric motors and other vehicles at a speed of up to 125 kW using a NACS cable.

Archimedes Defense claims that their development can be used for government and civilian purposes. "This is a comprehensive solution designed to provide maximum off-grid charging capability and first-class protection for vehicle occupants," the company says.
