Beetroot is one of the most budget-friendly and at the same time very tasty and healthy vegetables that can be eaten both raw and baked or boiled. Beets also make delicious salads, appetizers, and sauces.

A cook shared a recipe for a tasty and healthy appetizer of boiled beets, cheese and herbs on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • boiled beets
  • lettuce mix with arugula
  • nuts
  • balsamic sauce
  • stracciatella

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the boiled beets into thin slices and put them on a plate.

2. Top with the lettuce and cheese.

Drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with nuts!
