The first electric car of the Japanese company Suzuki for Europe has been officially presented. The budget crossover will make its market debut in 2025. The inexpensive compact car can be called revolutionary for the manufacturer.

This was reported on the company's website. The design of the Suzuki eVitara 2025 crossover was based on the Suzuki EVX concept, with which the automaker hinted at a production model. However, the production version still differs from the prototype in bumpers, lighting, and decor.

The front has narrow headlights with a pronounced geometric shape. Between them is a decorative panel with the company logo. An electric car requires less cooling than an internal combustion engine, so there is only a small air intake in the front bumper.

The plastic, unpainted decor around the body has two functions. First, it protects the beautiful exterior panels from scratches and minor damage. Secondly, it emphasizes the brutal, almost off-road styling.

The body length is 4275 mm, the width is 1.8 m, and the height is 1635 mm. It is equipped with 49 and 61-kWh battery packs that will provide a range of 400-500 km.

The new Suzuki eVitara will be equipped with one or two electric motors with an output of 144-175 and 184 hp, respectively. In the second case, all-wheel drive will be available. The price of Suzuki eVitara in the basic version will be 20-25 thousand euros.
