Simpler than the salad: how to cook festive Shuba tartlets with beets and herring
Herring, beets, and mayonnaise are the ingredients for the simplest and most hearty Shuba salad, which every housewife can make. But it can also be prepared in tartlets.
A cook shared a recipe for delicious Shuba tartlets with beets and herring on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- tartlets - 16 pcs
- medium boiled beetroot - 1 pc (grated on a fine grater)
- boiled carrots - 1 pc (grated on a fine grater)
- herring fillet - 200 g (cut into small pieces)
- garlic - 3-4 cloves (for a garlic press)
- mayonnaise - 3-4 tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste
- boiled eggs - 3 pcs (cut into slices)
- any greens for decoration
Method of preparation:
1. Cook the beets and grate them together with the carrots. Add mayonnaise and garlic and mix.
2. Boil the eggs and cut them in half. Dice the herring.
3. Put herring in the tartlets, top with a mixture of vegetables, and then the egg and herbs!
