Scientists studying "alien mummies" in Peru stunned with a statement: they are 100% real biological organisms

The story of the "alien mummies" began in 2017, when ufology enthusiast Jaime Maussan and a team of self-proclaimed paranormal investigators claimed to have found a mysterious three-toed "mummified humanoid" with an elongated skull near the city of Nazca. At the time, scientists did not believe in their authenticity, but now researchers studying the samples think otherwise.

A group of researchers from Peru, who have studied nearly two dozen samples, are 100 percent sure that they are genuine. According to Dr. Jose Salce, former director of the Mexican Navy's medical department, they found fingerprints, bone damage, dental formations, muscles, and internal organs that prove that these "mummies" are biological organisms, MailOnline reports.

Dr. Sahls' team spent six years examining the recovered samples. They did X-rays, computed tomography with 3D reconstruction, fluoroscopy, DNA analysis, forensic fingerprinting, and tissue samples from each body. Some of the samples they studied were pregnant, which, according to the scientist, is indisputable proof of their authenticity, as it cannot be falsified or copied fraudulently.

"They confirm with 100 percent certainty their organic, biofunctional, and skeletal anatomical authenticity," said Zahls.

He estimates that the remains found are between 1200 and 1600 years old.

During the years of research, the team was closely collaborated with by Peruvian journalist Jois Mantilla, who suggested that the mummies are the remains of an unknown species of hominid because they have some of the physical characteristics of humans, while their hands, facial features, elongated skull and legs are completely different.

"It could be another kind of hominid, so similar to humans, but different at the same time. They have not been described by science before," he commented on the study results.

One of these differences, according to the researchers, is that the fingerprints of the specimens do not correspond to any hominid, they are linear.

"Humans, hominids, have oblique, wavy, rounded shapes, and here they are absolutely linear. Some bodies have as many as five fingers, some have four, and some have only three," says Mantilla.

Scientists are continuing their research and trying to find the answer to who these unknowns were. To do this, additional testing methods are needed.
