Sausages in pita bread: a delicious appetizer that cooks very quickly
Sausage in dough is a great snack or breakfast option, and a type of pastry that we have known since childhood. However, many housewives prefer not to cook this dish at home because they don't want to knead the dough.
But with the recipe of a food blogger called polli cooking, you no longer need to knead the dough. On Instagram, she showed an incredible alternative, using ordinary pita bread instead of dough.
Ingredients
- Sausages - 6 pcs.
- Pita bread - 2 sheets
- Cheese - 6 pieces
- Ketchup - 2 tbsp
- American mustard - 1 tbsp
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Smoked paprika
- Salt
- Pepper
Method of preparation
1. Cut the pita bread into strips to fit the size of the sausages.
2. Grease each strip with ketchup and mustard sauce, put cheese, sausage and wrap in a tight roll.
3. Add salt and spices to the eggs, mix, and dip the rolls in them.
4. Fry the rolls in a well-heated frying pan over low heat until golden brown on all sides.
