Safe Olivier salad that won't harm your figure: what ingredients to choose
Classic Olivier is a rather fatty and high-calorie dish. Especially if you eat it with other delicacies that will definitely be on the holiday table. But some ingredients can be replaced to make the salad more dietary.
The idea of preparing a diet Olivier for the New Year was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia Dragulova (juliadietolog). Vegetables can be boiled in the microwave – it will be much faster.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 200 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- potatoes - 100 g
- pickled cucumber - 1 pc.
- carrot - 1 pc.
- peas - 60 g
Ingredients for the dressing:
- sour cream 15% - 50 g
- lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- mustard - 1/2 tsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the chicken in boiling salted water until tender.
2. Boil carrots, potatoes, eggs.
3. To avoid cooking for 30 minutes, you can put it in a plate and cover it with a bag.
4. Be sure to pierce the vegetables, add a little water, and microwave them for 5-10 minutes.
5. Cut the ingredients into small cubes.
6. Put in a bowl and mix.
7. For the sauce, mix all the ingredients and season the salad.
