On the afternoon of September 1, Russian terrorist forces launched about 10 attacks on Kharkiv. The attack damaged civilian infrastructure, and 41 people were injured, including 5 children.

Among them is a six-year-old child with an acute stress reaction. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on Telegram. According to the mayor Ihor Terekhov, one of the strikes hit a private housing area.

"Several households and a supermarket are burning. There are victims, including doctors," the mayor wrote.

Syniehubov also clarified that the damaged infrastructure as a result of enemy air strikes included a shopping center, a sports facility, and residential buildings.

As of 14.04, Sinegubov reported that the number of injured had increased to 13 people. Among the wounded are two doctors, a doctor is in serious condition.

Terekhov clarified that at least 22 people were injured in Saltovka district, including two children and two medics. Two people are in serious condition. Six more people were wounded in Nemyshlyansky district.

"Three cars were on fire. As a result of the shelling, the gas pipeline was damaged. There is a fire. At the moment 30 people have been evacuated. All relevant services are working at the scene," the mayor informed.

"The number of victims has increased to at least 25. People continue to seek medical assistance. Among the damages are a Nova Poshta office, shops, a sports complex, a shopping center, and cars," Syniehubov said as of 14:26.

Later, the head of the regional military administration informed that the number of victims had increased to 29, including two adults and two children in serious condition.

"The type of attack was a missile. Details are being investigated," noted Syniehubov.

According to him, three locations came under fire: Kharkiv Sports Palace, a shopping center in Saltiv district, and near Hydropark in Kyiv district.

According to preliminary information from law enforcement, the enemy used Iskanders to strike Kharkiv, in particular, Syniehubov said.

President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to another Russian terrorist attack in Kharkiv. He said that the number of victims had increased to 30.

"All the necessary forces have been deployed for the rescue operation. And all the necessary forces of the world should be involved to stop this terror. This does not require extraordinary forces, but sufficient courage of leaders - the courage to give Ukraine everything it needs to defend itself," the Head of State emphasized.

As of 15:28, Syniehubov said that the number of victims had increased to 41, including 5 children. The liquidation of the aftermath of the shelling continues.

The head of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, Oleksandr Filchakov, said that the wreckage of an Iskander missile was found at the site of the attack on the hypermarket in Saltiv district . These missiles were flying at a speed of 6,000 kilometers per hour.
