As a result of a nighttime attack by the terrorist country Russia, there are power outages in the Khmelnytskyi and Odesa regions. As of the morning, 7 settlements remain without power, affecting 2,506 consumers.

This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo on March 6. As a result of the drone attack, the power company's networks were damaged in the Khmelnytskyi and Odesa regions.

In the Khmelnytskyi region, 30 settlements were cut off from power supply as a result of the attack. In the Odesa region, 234 consumers were cut off from power due to the hostilities. Repair crews plan to restore power supply during the day.

Overall, the night attack did not have any critical consequences for the power system. Due to the hostilities and other reasons, 398 settlements are still without power in the morning. There are new damages to power grids in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.

Consumers in certain areas of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Kherson regions also remain without power.

On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, March 6, Russian invaders attacked Odesa region with Shahed kamikaze drones. Air defense forces shot down 18 enemy drones over the region. The falling debris damaged a gas pipeline and residential buildings in the Odesa district.

As previously reported, Russia has changed its tactics of shelling Ukraine's energy system and is now conducting targeted and intense drone attacks against specific energy facilities. In this regard, it will be useful to prepare for possible problems with energy as much as possible because in case of major damage, the blackout may be prolonged.
