Poliakova's daughter has entered an American university and criticized the education in London: it has a very weak quality
Mariia Poliakova, the daughter of Ukrainian singer Olha Poliakova, has revealed that she has enrolled in an American university. The star's daughter studied in London for almost a year but dropped out of the English school.
She told Morning in the Big City that her studies at the British university were of a poor standard. During her 12 years at the music school, Maria gained more knowledge than she did during a year at a university.
"I dropped out of the English university because I entered the American Berklee College of Music for a winter course. My classmate and I didn't like studying there because the level of instruction was so low. We spent 12 years at the music school. We had a lot of knowledge. She got in, and she got a confirmation. And she was like: 'Go ahead, apply.' So I applied and finally got in. And with a very good discount," said the singer's daughter.
The star mom shared her thoughts on her child's decision.
"I'm shocked: this child does something on her own, goes somewhere, enters somewhere. She is very much like me. She doesn't need anyone, no help. She knows that her mom is busy and that her mom has no time, so she does everything herself. Let her go," Poliakova said.
As a reminder, Yevhen Koshevyi's daughter has also decided to study abroad and is choosing among three universities in Poland. The girl is already actively preparing for exams and learning a foreign language. Varvara Kosheva plans to study vocal or acting.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that Ukrainian students are going to be expelled from universities for refusing to sign a contract.
