Polish farmers have stopped blocking two checkpoints. Truck traffic at the Shehyni-Medica and Krakivets-Korchova checkpoints has been restored.

This was reported by the Border Guard Service of Ukraine. "Today, after 09:00, Polish farmers ended their protest in front of these checkpoints. The registration and passage of trucks across the border in both directions is carried out in the usual mode," the statement said.

Currently, more than 1700 trucks are waiting to enter Ukraine at these checkpoints. Drivers and carriers were asked to take this information into account when planning international transportation.

At the Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne checkpoint, truck traffic will be partially resumed. Polish farmers are planning to allow trucks to enter Poland, except for those transporting goods of groups 1-24 of the Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity (UCGFEA) (agricultural products). Preliminary, the truck traffic is scheduled to start at 08:00 on April 21.

Earlier, on April 16, the Poles stopped blocking the Dovhobychiv-Uhryniv checkpoint. As of 2:45 p.m. on that day, there were queues of 100 trucks in front of the checkpoint to leave Ukraine.

In the opposite direction, to enter Ukraine from Poland, another 30 trucks with a gross vehicle weight of up to 7.5 tons were queued up. At the same time, the day before the blockade was lifted, the protesters at Uhryniv did not let a single truck from Ukraine to Poland through.

In general, Polish farmers plan to continue the blockade of the Ukrainian border at least until April 30. Previously, the strikers promised to end the protests in early March but extended the blockade.

As OBOZ.UA reported, in late March, Ukraine and Poland held talks at the level of prime ministers. The topics included the blocking of the border by Polish farmers and trade in the agricultural sector. As a result, the parties agreed that Poland would issue licenses to Ukraine to import four types of agricultural crops into its territory.
