When making fritters, many housewives face the problem that the dough falls off. Instead of fluffy and soft products, they end up with ordinary thin pancakes. All this is because of one funny mistake.

Food blogger Marina Frolova shared the secrets of making fluffy kefir fritters on her Instagram page. This nuance should not be forgotten.

The cook notes that when you have already prepared the dough, you should never stir it. This will cause your products to not rise during frying. You will find the detailed recipe below.

Ingredients:

  • warm kefir - 500 ml.
  • egg - 1 pc.
  • sugar - 3 tbsp
  • flour - 400 g
  • baking powder - 1 tsp or soda
  • a pinch of salt

Method of preparation:

1. Add the egg, salt and sugar to the slightly warm kefir.

2. Then add baking powder or baking soda.

3. Sift the flour in portions and mix well.

4. Leave the dough to rest for 15-20 minutes. The mass should be quite thick.

5. Before frying, it is important not to stir the dough - this will result in fritters like pancakes.

6. Fry the fritters in a well-heated frying pan under a lid in a sufficient amount of oil.

7. Put the fritters on paper towels.

8. Drizzle with honey if desired.
