Lazy pita tubes with mushrooms and meat: a simple recipe for a snack

Pita bread is a very budget-friendly and tasty product that can be the basis for making delicious appetizers, as well as chips, pies, casseroles, and cakes.

The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious pita bread tubes with minced meat and mushrooms.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pita bread
  • 2 chicken thighs
  • 250 g of mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion or 2 small onions
  • 2 eggs
  • salt, pepper, and paprika to taste
  • oil for frying
  • a piece of butter

How to cook:

1. Wash the mushrooms well and chop them, cut the onion into quarter rings. Remove the skin from the thighs, and cut out the bone and cartilage. Cut into small cubes.

2. Heat a small piece of butter in a frying pan. Pour the onion and mushrooms into it. Add the chicken, salt, pepper, sprinkle with paprika, stir and fry for 10-15 minutes.

3. Cut the pita bread into small rectangles. Put 1 tbsp of the filling on the edge of the pita bread and roll it into a tube. Repeat with all the filling and pita bread.

4. Beat the eggs in a bowl and mix them well.

5. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Soak each tube well in egg and fry on both sides until golden brown.
